Ingredients
- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup cold water
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 2 tablespoons sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
- 8-10 fresh mint leaves
- Ice cubes for serving
- Lime slices and mint sprigs for garnish
Instructions
1
Blend the mango
Add the diced mango and cold water to a blender. Blend on high until completely smooth, about 30 seconds.
2
Strain the mixture
Pour the blended mango through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher to remove any fibrous bits. Stir in the lime juice and sugar until dissolved.
3
Muddle the mint
Gently muddle the mint leaves in the bottom of each glass to release their aromatic oils. Do not over-muddle as this can make the mint bitter.
4
Assemble and serve
Fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour the mango mixture over the ice. Garnish with lime slices and a sprig of fresh mint. Stir gently and serve immediately.

- Frozen mango chunks work well and eliminate the need for ice.
- Adjust sweetness based on the natural sweetness of your mangoes.
- For a fizzy version, top with sparkling water or club soda before serving.
